Full Mouth Restoration is the reconstruction of every individual tooth. Instead of doing the procedure of a long period of time, we accomplish this all at once in order to achieve ideal occlusion (or bite). Sometimes called neuromuscular dentistry, this technique involves a preliminary information-gathering visit. The goal of this appointment is to determine ideal occlusion. We use special computer diagnostics and neuromuscular methods to relax the jaw muscles. Tension or pain that contribute to TMJ problems are often times a result of poor occlusion and shortened or damaged teeth. Once we know where the muscles and jaw are most comfortable we use that information to make restorations that honor that position.
